Valve Prepping Massive Left 4 Dead Campaign

Valve games on the console have always been kind of iffy. That’s because Valve mostly works in FPSes, and PC will always reign supreme when it comes to the FPS platform. The Orange Box was okay on the Xbox, but it doesn’t come close to touching the PC version, especially Team Fortress 2. Perhaps because of this, Valve will be launching a massive advertisement campaign in order to get it’s upcoming zombie shooter known.

The $10 million dollar campaign hopes to bring focus to the co-op FPS zombie shooter, Left 4 Dead. The game will be released this November. Beginning November 9th through the 28th, a series of commercials with a mix between horror and humor will be shown on many popular television networks, including ABC, ESPN, Fox, MTV, Comedy Central, USA, and Spike TV.

In addition to the massive TV campaign, several Left 4 Dead billboards will be placed across a number of US Cities, from New York to Los Angeles and everywhere in between. The game will officially be launched on November 17, so get ready for some zombie shooting action.
